Walmart Girls PUNISH me for Non-compliance!

If you don’t obey, you will be punished.

Has America given up it’s dignity for a cookie and toy?

It’s not uncommon that walk into Walmart in a suit to get a few things. Many do in my small town because there’s not a lot of options. Especially after 5PM. But today cashiers Dori and Courtney decided to punish me in front of everyone. I think  you’ll find this one worth watching till the end.
I was with my 7 year old daughter Anna. But what you’re about to see goes far deeper than Americas biggest storefront. It’s the expectation that we obey made up authority or be punished. I chose the punishment and walked out. This is not Fifty Shades of Grey or the Twilight Zone. It’s the brave new world and it’s starting to look like a third world slum.
This is funny, but it’s not funny. Maybe you’re shaking your head and proudly thinking “I don’t shop at WalMart”. It’s cool you have choices in your town. But listen up. This is not about WalMart. This is about preventing our society from thinking like slaves. It’s about speaking up and confronting civil insanity. It’s not just at WalMart this mindset is prevailing. It’s at the gas station, the amusement park, the legislative building and the City Hall.
You’ve all faced something like this. Having your bag searched at the theater. Giving up your stuff at the door. Complying with a silly rule to get something. The question is not “do you shop at WalMart”. The question is when this happens ANYWHERE do you stand your ground and firmly say no, or do you comply for a cookie?
By all means speak with your dollars. We’re getting a WinCo soon and I plan to do a lot more of our shopping there. But in one place or another you will be faced with this. You will have to comply or give up something. By standing your ground and speaking out you make bigger impact. It’s time to teach people what it means to be independent and take back our dignity.
